What is SVNManage?
SvnManage is a powerful, yet easy-to-use, web tool that allows administrators to manage Subversion source control systems. SvnManage makes Subversion much easier to manage by removing the need to use a command line interface normally required to configure or administer the repository. Instead, SvnManage provides a simple and intuitive web interface for making changes. This allows administrators to make changes quickly without having to remember the specifics of the underlying Subversion configuration settings.
SvnManage lets administrators easily manage the list of users associated with the repository. Each user can be assigned a folder list and their rights to each folder can be set. When working with a large numbers of users, SvnManage is able to organize them into groups. Managing groups makes it simple and convenient to edit the folder access and permissions of many users rather than for each individually. SvnManage also includes a revision browser that makes it easy to browse the repository history.
SvnManage also provides the users with a convenient method to change their password and view their access privileges. Users can also be granted administrator access to the web interface, thereby alleviating the requirement for key personnel to make changes.
